A question was posed to me by my nine year-old neighbor yesterday that I have been pondering for the past 24 hours. I thought I would share it with everyone in the blogosphere: Are Crocs shoes or are they sandals?

Now, due to their open construction, Crocs may be categorized as sandals. But on the other hand, Crocs look good with a nice pair of slacks and have hard soles which to me indicates that they are shoes.

My neighbor and I went on debating the finer points of how to categorize Crocs until it was time for her to eat dinner and we never arrived at a conclusion.

New Balance Shoes

Have you ever had that one pair of shoes that has been with you through everything? Through good times and bad, in sickness and in health, that pair of shoes that has been with you through countless wild encounters?

My tan new balance shoes are that pair for me. They are like my better half. They have been with me through years of wear in the gym, through police chases from my days as an underage drinker in college, and through many a night out at the bar (legally).
